PFLUGERVILLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORP. AND THE PFLUGERVILLE LIBRARY ANNOUNCE LAUNCH OF BLUE CAREER WORKFORCE RESOURCE

Pflugerville, Texas (August 19, 2024) — The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) and the Pflugerville Library officially launches its new workforce development resource, Blue Career, to connect people with the tools and opportunities to secure jobs in the skilled trades industry. This innovative platform connects individuals with the skilled trades industry by offering personalized career guidance, access to training programs, certification courses, job listings, and resources for skill development. Through partnerships with local employers and educational institutions, Blue Career ensures community members have the knowledge and tools to succeed in high-demand trade careers. Blue Career: Empowering Community Members for Skilled Trades Success Through the Blue Career platform, community members can:

• Explore Professions: Discover over 135 different trades within the skilled trades industry.
• Career Assessment: Take a comprehensive assessment to identify potential career matches based on interests and skills.
• Training Opportunities: Access a wealth of training resources and connect with programs to gain necessary skills.
• Job Listings: Search and apply for jobs related to the trades of interest, directly through the platform.
